I tried to call in to verify if they accepted my insurance and the person was like we don’t verify insurance. She said if it’s on your list than we take it. The problem with that is I go online and call to see if a dr accepts my insurance and 4 out of 5 I call do not. I told her this and asked what if I get there and you process me and you do not take it are you going to charge me whatever the full rates are and she said yes. I asked again if she could transfer me to her superior and she said no. I called in again a different day and asked the same questions and got the same answers. What dr office won’t verify if they accept your insurance but then expects you to pay whatever they say you owe if they don’t take your insurance? Very rude staff. Very rude. That double very rude is not on accident. It is challenging dealing with insurance and dr staff needs to have some compassion. I do not reccomend anyone bothering with this dr office. I called another office and they have been nothing but pleasant. Patients have choices (however they may be limited due to insurers) but it’s not like I have to go there and the staff does NOT CARE. How sad is this? VERY SAD!

I hate seeing all these bad reviews! I absolutely love the treatment I have received from Sanket Shah! I started seeing him a year ago and it changed my life. He got everything in my endocrine system balanced and I feel like a new person. I also lost 45 pounds thanks to getting everything balanced.

Haha! Adding this update because I received a formal letter from the doctor (that I had to sign for) stating that I can no longer be a patient there as per my request. Hahahaha! It’s like they are saying «no! You can’t break up with us because we are breaking up with you first!» Too funny… Also a little weird. What doctors office does that?

I visited Dr Patel, the wait was horrible. The staff were completely rude and obviously did not like their job. The nurse practitioner I saw was not dressed professionally at all and neither was the doctor. Dr Patel was rude and condescending and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by being there. I refused to go back and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve seen 2 different doctors at this facility over the past 3 years for hypothyroidism. I had one very good doctor, who sadly moved and transferred her patients to another doctor in the practice. Dr. Watwe has not been anything special. She doesn’t respond quickly to messages, a big problem when you have abnormal lab results and are trying to find out if you should change a medication dosage. She’s also skeptical of her patients… if you tell her you feel a certain way, she is reluctant to believe you until she sees a lab result backing up your claim. I find that insulting and belittling, but common behavior among many endocrinologists. The staff can be very nice, but it’s VERY difficult to speak to a human when you call… lots of prompts, and no one seems to ever call you back. The office also relies heavily on mdbug… an annoying computer program that allows you to communicate with your doctor, see lab results, etc. I don’t find it very user friendly, and I also think the practice hides behind the program to avoid dealing one-on-one with patients.
I am changing practices after 3 so-so years of mediocre treatment.
